RU58841 is a non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that was initially developed as a treatment for prostate cancer. It is also known as PSK-3841 or HMR-3841. However, researchers later discovered that it could also be effective in treating hair loss.

RU58841 works by inhibiting the binding of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to the androgen receptors in hair follicles.
